Scott Rothenberg has provided professional legal services in trial and appellate courts throughout the State of Texas since 1986. He represents a diverse clientele, in cases involving commercial and insurance litigation, personal injury, family law, defamation, and both medical and legal malpractice. Scott Rothenberg has been Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since December of 1992. Scott strives to practice professional ethics of the highest standard. During his 37 years of practicing law, Scott has twice served on the State Bar of Texas Board of Directors. Scott has also served as special disciplinary counsel on behalf of the State Bar of Texas Commission for Lawyer Discipline, panel chair of a Commission for Lawyer Discipline Grievance Committee, Chair of the State Bar of Texas Appellate Section, Chair of the Houston Bar Association Appellate Section, Chair of the State Bar of Texas Continuing Legal Education committee, and is a frequent guest lecturer in continuing legal education programs on topics including appellate practice, trial practice, and legal ethics. Mr. Rothenberg also holds the highest rating of AV preeminent for ability and ethics by Martindale-Hubbell, a Thomson Reuters company.

Scott Rothenberg is Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. As of October, 2022, only 389 Texas attorneys are Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. That is less than one-half of 1% of all attorneys licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Texas. Scott Rothenberg is one of them. Unless otherwise noted, Mr. Rothenberg is not certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in other areas.
